Collaborative efforts need conventions to prevent them from becoming chaotic. This page is the place where participants can list (and change) conventions for this wiki.

There are currently very few conventions (feel free to improve):
- Only users who are logged in can edit pages.
The HomePage (only) is not editable by anyone.
The ListOfDiscussions page is a separate page where you can start any topical discussion.
Please refrain from changing the taxonomies themselves for a while. These represent concise summaries and as such we would like to keep them concise and informally moderated. If you want to add or change something, rather start a discussion on the ListOfDiscussions page first so others can participate in your thinking process. Updates to the taxonomies are appropriate when agreed upon in this forum. You can always put a link to your discussion in the relevant place in the taxonomy. This way, we can have an open discussion with a concise summary of the current state of its conclusions.
- Each category in a taxonomy is on a seperate page. This makes linking to it from other locations possible.
The names of pages containing discussions (listed in ListOfDiscussions) should end with "Discussion" and each such page should start with an introduction stating the issue being discussed.
- Please sign any comments you add to a discussion.
